📖 Qur’anic Insight:

وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا تُسْرِفُوا ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ
“And eat and drink, but do not be excessive. Indeed, He does not like the extravagant.”
(Surah Al-A’raf, 7:31)

Explanation: Diabetes often results from excessive sugar intake, overeating, and an imbalanced diet — all of which are discouraged in the Qur'an.

Diabetes (شوگر) is one of the fastest-growing health issues globally. But centuries ago, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ guided us through lifestyle habits, foods, and natural remedies that form the foundation of Tib-e-Nabvi (Prophetic Medicine).

🌿 1. Black Seed (Kalonji – Nigella Sativa)

کالونجی – شوگر کے لیے نبوی نسخہ

Hadith:

"Black seed is a cure for every disease except death." – (Sahih al-Bukhari 5687)

How to Use:

  • Take ½ tsp kalonji oil in warm water daily before breakfast.

  • OR: Mix ground black seeds with honey and consume 1 tsp daily.

Benefit:

Helps regulate insulin resistance and lowers fasting glucose levels.


🥒 2. Barley (Jau) – Sunnah Superfood

جو – نبی کریم ﷺ کا پسندیدہ اناج

Hadith:

"Eat the barley, for it gives strength to the heart and relieves grief." – (Ibn Majah)

How to Use:

  • Drink barley water 2–3 times a week.

  • Add barley flour in rotis (chapati) instead of white flour.

Scientific Note:

Barley has a low glycemic index, which helps keep blood sugar stable.

شہد – نبی ﷺ کی پسندیدہ غذا

Qur’an Reference:

فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِلنَّاسِ
“In it (honey) is healing for mankind.” (Surah An-Nahl 16:69)

How to Use:

  • Use 1 tsp pure organic honey once daily in warm water.

  • Best time: Early morning or before sleep.

Note:

Honey should be used in moderation only for diabetic patients under supervision.
